[ad_1]
In a recent controversy surrounding Cardano (ADA), founder Charles Hoskinson has taken aim at prominent crypto influencer Ben Armstrong, also known as BitBoy Crypto. The dispute stems from Armstrong’s assertion in a video that “ADA is dead.” The video also cited concerns about Cardano’s progress compared to other blockchain projects.
Cardano Founder Charles Hoskinson Declines Ben Armstrong’s Invitation
Armstrong’s remarks were met with a swift response from Hoskinson, who expressed disappointment in Armstrong’s stance. Hoskinson took to social media platform X to comment on Armstrong’s remarks, stating, “Well, Ben Armstrong was always friendly in person to me. Sad to see him go down this road. Wish him well and hope for the best.”
Attempting to resolve the disagreement, Armstrong quoted his tweet and responded in a positive manner. Moreover, he stated that if Hoskinson takes a closer look at the video, he’ll notice that “some good points are raised.” In addition, Armstrong extended an invitation to Hoskinson for an interview to discuss the matter further.
However, Hoskinson declined the offer. The Cardano founder noted that once someone adopts the belief that “ADA is going to die,” there’s little room for further discussion about cryptocurrencies. He wished Armstrong well but made it clear that he had no interest in engaging in a debate.
Hoskinson wrote, “Sorry, Ben. Once you get on the Ada is going to die train, we have nothing more to discuss about Cryptocurrencies. I wish you good fortune in the years to come.” The recent exchange highlights the ongoing debate within the crypto community regarding the potential and trajectory of ADA against various blockchain projects.

What Did BitBoy Crypto Actually Say?
In the YouTube video, Armstrong expressed concerns about Cardano’s progress compared to other blockchain projects. He acknowledged Cardano’s potential but questioned its current status in the market. He stated, “I know we’ve done this video a lot of times because there’s been a lot of times people are questioning what’s going to be happening with this ecosystem compared to some of these other blockchains.”
Despite his concerns, Armstrong spoke positively about Cardano and its founder, Charles Hoskinson. He mentioned Cardano’s past performance and his admiration for Hoskinson’s philosophy and ideals.
Armstrong compared ADA to other blockchain projects like Solana and Avalanche, noting their price explosions and increasing user bases. He remarked, “These ecosystems are blowing up, absolutely killing it.”
In addition, Armstrong raised concerns about Cardano’s community engagement and adoption. He questioned whether the project can compete with newer, more popular projects in terms of attracting users and investors.
Furthermore, Armstrong highlighted challenges related to liquidity and institutional investment in Cardano. He suggested that the lack of liquidity may hinder the project’s growth and adoption.
Despite his concerns, Armstrong emphasized the need for Cardano to compete on a fundamental level with other blockchain projects. He encourages the community to explore ways to enhance Cardano’s popularity and usage. Armstrong also invited viewers to a members-only livestream where Cardano’s DeFi ecosystem will be discussed, an invitation that Hoskinson refused.
